Personale gentilissimo e attento ma assolutamente non invadente, cucina a vista (adoro), cibo tutto buonissimo, noi abbiamo preso tutte le portate del nostro lago (me ne ricorderò quando vorrò far assaggiare i ns sapori a chi viene da fuori).
Menzione speciale per i tagliolini con missoltino e nell'antipasto di lago la polentina con patè di missoltino e la tartare di trota! La qualità c'è e si sente, prezzo assolutamente commisurato al servito e al servizio. Consigliato, ci tornerò.

This is one of those places that, upon entering, you simply know it will be a night to remember or one to quickly forget, and nothing in between. It was the former--a memorable evening full of great food, attentive and kind service, perfect pacing, and generous extras.

The space is small and oddly but charmingly appointed - nothing quite fits, yet it all fits perfectly. Our server was Agxon (I believe) and he was so nice and so good. We were each gifted a glass of prosecco to start.

With some great "suggerimenti" (suggestions) from Agxon, we chose the avocado tart and crispy octopus as our starters... both were delicious. The octopus was outstanding if you like octopus. for Primi, we shared the shellfish ravioli - again, delicious. the pasta texture was excellent, and the clams were tender, just right. For Secondi, we chose the sea catch of the day and the rack of lamb. Both were excellent, but the lamb was amazing.

Agxon also suggested a nice bottle of food-friendly Italian red wine (I wish I could remember the region and grape) that played very well with our diverse dishes.

Our meal concluded with a delicious tiramisu dessert and an espresso, followed by a 3-minute walk to our hotel (Palace Hotel). The bill was as surprising as the food... all of this for € 149.

We probably wouldn't have found this little treasure if not for the many positive reviews submitted here, so it is only right that I return the favor.

We highly recommend Piazza Roma Ristorante Como, a quirky, charming, unassuming, fabulous highlight of our stay in Como.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, the experience was absolutely delightful. The food was incredibly delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to Italy. From the perfectly cooked pasta dishes to the mouthwatering octopus, every bite was a culinary delight. Moreover, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff members who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal with friends or family.

Questo ristorante italiano è semplicemente eccezionale! Devi provare il ristorante locale a Como, rimarrai sorpreso!

we had the most wonderful time here while we are in Como.
The frustration of not getting a ferry ticket got washed away the minute we got there, with kind and lovely services from waiting staff and the owner.
What came before that truly elevated the whole experience ---- the food is simply amazing, and even compared with all the other restaurants we visited during our 14 days trip, this restaurants remained number 1 on our list.
We truly appreciate this experience and we hope that our path cross again in the future !

Small cosy restaurant with amazing pasta with amazing service. Waiter went above and beyond. We ordered the shellfish ravioli, grilled fish (catch of the day, seabass), beef carpaccio, grilled vegetables (zucchini and eggplant) and tomato based pasta with burrata cheese. Highly satisfied with the quality of dishes, especially the beef carpaccio and pastas. In a touristy town like como it isn't easy to find a restaurant that delivers quality food.

Please visit them you won't regret it!

Great place, our food was delicious, service welcoming but not intrusive, lovely background music and view.

Located in a quiet place away from main touristic tropes this place definitely worth a visit.

We had fish plate from the lake - really really delicious, pasta with zucchini and a lamb. All was very nicely prepared and very tasty. Lamb was the star dish

For puddings - Napoletan baba and chocolate pear. Happy with it. Highly highly recommend the place

Best food during my trip in Como. We had the octopus, lamb, spaghetti and the chocolate pear and it was all good. The octopus was awesome though. Service is great, place is small so better to reserve first if you can, we walked in and sit outside on a cold night just because we really wanted to eat there ?
