This is an interesting “dive” store front pizza place, that sits (ironically) on a main drag of upscale Manhattan Beach Pier restaurants. It’s pretty much a “walk up and grab a slice and go” place. They have other stuff too (salads/subs). That said, the pizza is New York style thin crust, it’s really good, and it’s about $5-$6 a slice so you really can’t go wrong. Order extra cheese to make it extra good!

I’ve been going here for years . The pizza was always decent . Over the last couple of months it’s changed. So thin it’s melting into the cardboard. You can’t even taste the cheese anymore . At first I thought it was just an error but my husband just bought another home . Kids will still eat it . A no for me .

Straight outta the gate I'll say the pizza was decent, however....it was such a thin pizza I felt like I was eating a slice of paper. I ordered a large sausage pizza and I felt like there was 10 little pieces on it. Not to mention the cheese ratio was terrible. Atmosphere was poor, table was dirty, but it's kinda the charm of the place. You guys have a decent pie, but it could be a whole lot better. Haven't been here in years, but I remember it being a much better pizza.

Food is solid. I have tried their pizza, wings and fries. Their fries were surprisingly good, 9.1/10, well seasoned and a perfect crispy.

The pizza and wings are very good. Both are about an 8.3/10, the pizza is more like an 8.1 because it's a bit too greasy.

The reason for a 3 star. Ideally, it would have been a 4.5 imo. But I knock off .5 or a star because of how greasy the pizza and the price. It's like $30 for a MEDIUM with 2 toppings... Remember, NY pizza are super thin. So an average man who's hungry can eat a whole medium.

Plus, I knock down this place down a full star due to the hours. This place closes at 10pm on FRIDAYS and Saturdays. Bare around this place are open, yet they want to close at 10pm .. 12am on those days makes more sense, or at 11:00pm at the worst. They should tweak their hours, at least just 1 more hours on Fridays and Saturdays

So given all this, this is like a 3.5 restaurant. But I rounded it down to the fact that they are not customer friendly with the hours. We all have been there. We've left a bar a bit buzz at 1130pm and craving some greasy food. But, they decide to close at 10pm

Local resident and have frequented this location for years. Service has dropped significantly. Recently, I placed an order and waited for hours. I reached out to a customer service rep to check in and they canceled the order. Highly recommend checking out other local institutions like Beach Pizza instead.

Update: They also tried to charge me for the order after canceling it and I had to go through a lengthy process to get it refunded.

100% Transparency, i didn't even eat here. A few hours before closing, i walked in to a pile of kitchen mats at the order counter. No dine in (understandable), but only cheese and pepperoni pizza avaliable from their full menu.

I chose this location because they weren't closing immediately... but apparently on a Friday night, don't bother.

After a nice bike ride down the Strand, I knew I had to take my partner to get N.Y style pizza! She really enjoyed the customer service, the view, outdoor seating and especially the pizza. This is not only customer friendly but due to covid they have secured outdoor seating which makes it a dog friendly spot as well and has definitely won me back! Get the cheese and ask for extra crispy, you wont regret it!
